Orthopaedic Associates of Central Maryland serves the Montgomery County and Washington, DC, areas with three orthopedic and physical therapy offices in Catonsville, Columbia, and Eldersburg, as well as an additional physical therapy facility in Ellicott City.

The friendly staff at Orthopaedic Associates of Central Maryland Foot & Ankle Care welcomes your inquiry at (410) 644-1880 and is ready to provide you with answers. We have three convenient locations to serve you. To schedule an appointment with podiatrists Dr. Marc Lipton or Dr. Roberto Brandão,  please call our office or you can use our secure online form to schedule an appointment.

Office Hours

All our offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. In addition, we have after hours on urgent care Fridays and Saturdays.

Emergencies

In the event of a life-threatening medical emergency, call emergency medical services at 911 immediately. DO NOT WAIT! Inform the emergency room staff that you are a patient of Dr. Marc Lipton or Dr. Roberto Brandão at Orthopaedic Associates of Central Maryland and they will contact us.

After Hours Urgent Medical Needs

If you have an urgent need outside of our regular office hours, please call (410) 644-1880. A doctor is on-call 24 hours a day.

Insurance/Payment/Billing

Orthopaedic Associates of Central Maryland accepts most commercial insurance plans, Medicaid, Medicare, and workers’ comp. Please contact your insurance company or you may call our office at (410) 644-1880 to find out if we accept your insurance plan.

If your insurance plan requires you to pay a co-payment, co-insurance, and/or a deductible, you will need to pay at the time of your visit. For your convenience we accept cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.

If you have a question related to your bill or insurance, please contact our billing specialists at (410) 644-1880, extension 20106.

Referrals

If your insurance is an HMO/managed care plan and you are required to obtain a referral from your primary care physician, the referral must be obtained before you can be seen for an office visit.

Please coordinate this with your primary care physician in advance. Appointments will be rescheduled if required referrals are not received in the office by the time of your visit.

Prescription Requests
Prescriptions and refills for established patients of Orthopaedic Associates of Central Maryland are routinely issued during our regular office hours (see above). You can make your request by calling our office at (410) 644-1880 and selecting option 6 when you hear the phone message. No refills are issued during the evenings, weekends, or holidays, as the doctors do not have access to your medical records during those times. It is helpful to anticipate your refill needs to avoid an interruption in your medical therapy.
